AUSTRALIA'S DEMANDS MR. HUGHES'S THREE POINTS. (Rec December 30, 7.30 p.m.) New York, December 29.' The New York "Tribune" gives prominence to a special article by Mr. W. M. Hughes (Australian Prime Minister), setting out Australia's demands us follows:—"Three things vitally concern Australia, and for which wo shall insist at the Peace Conference with all our power, namely: "'We, must have control of the islands in the Pacific for our future safety. "'We must have the power to make whatever laws, including tariffs, we think fit. " 'Our huge war debt should be borne by the aggressor.'"—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
