OPIUM TRAFFIC IN CHINA
SENSATIONAL ALLEGATIONS AGAINST JAPAN. Shanghai, December 2i. The "North China Daily News" makes sensational allegations iibout ail enormous illicit traffic in morphia and Indian opium, done by the Japanese in China. It affirms that eighteen tons of morphia is imported into China from Japan annually and distributed by the Japanese Post Office and Japanese pedlars—Renter.
