The War Oflico announces that the King has approved the award of a lftll--15 Star for the Army similar to that of the Navy, (he awards to include the Dominion and Indian Forces and liurses, —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.-Reuter. (Rec. December 2G, 8.20 p.m.) London, December 24. The Admiralty announces that the King approves the award of the 1914-15 Star in bronze for officers and men in the Navy, including tho Dominion forces, pilots, and observers, men of the Naval Air Service, tho mercantile marine officers, aud men serving undor special naval engagements, and the canteen staffs who served on board the warships at sea. All : these shall be in respect of the operations in France, Belgium, and Eastern Europe, and including Egypt, Africa, Asia, and the Australasian theatre (including German 1 Now Guinea, tho Bismarck Archipelago, Navua, and German Samoa).-Aus.-N.Z.
