AND ROADING PROVISIONS. In respect to roading proposals from the Hataitai Land Company, the City Council decided last evening that the company bo informed in connection with their application for consent to the subdivision at Rakau Road, Hataitai, that they will require to comply with the following conditions, approved by the City Engineer and the Outlying Districts. Committee, bofore approval can be granted:—l. The company shall provide better access between Rnkau Road and Hutaitni Road, and that a zig-zag pathway should bo constructed on section 22 facing Hataitai Road and on section 80 fronting Eakau Road. 2. Tho footway shall' be properly graded and surfaced with approved material. Propev provision shall be made for the disposal of storm-water into street channels at Hataitai Road. 3. Handrails shall be erected and painted white. 4. The whole of the above works shall be carried out to the satisfaction of the City Engineer.
