ANOTHER BOAT HARBOUR

The Baths, Libraries, and Beaches Committee reported to the City Council last evening:—"That an application for permission to erect a small boatshed on the Evans Bay foreshore he not granted. The committee realise,, however, that there will be a growing demund for boat housing provision in this stretch of water, and they have requested (he City Engineer to furnish a report in the direction of arranging for the co-operation of the AVellinglon Harbour Board, with a view to joint action being taken to provide some facilities for a boat shelter in this locality."
