» FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications are for moderate to strong westerly to northerly winds, freshening in and southwards of Cook Strait. Fair, warm, and hazy weather is probable generally, but with increasing cloudiness soon, particularly in tie western districts. The barometer has a rising tendency, but. is due to fall again shortly in the south. A small westerly depression has pasaed in the south since yesterday, and lias accounted .for cloudy skies at times, but fine and warm weather has ruled to-day.
