THE ARMISTICE
; DISPOSAL OF THE GERMAN NAVY AMERICA'S SHARE (Eec. November 27, 5.5 p.m.) Washington, November 26. Mr. J. Daniels, Secretary to the Navy, referring to the suggestion that the German Navy may be sunk owing to the difficulties' of dividing it, 'says no suggestion has been made through the. United States to that effect. It is not thought that such a course is likely. If the Navv were partitioned the share of the' United States would be only one destroyer and one armoured cruiser, Britain, France and Italy- getting the major shares—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn.
