PEACE THANKSGIVING DAY
PROCLAMATION IN AMERICA. Washington, November 18. President Wilson has issued a proclamation asking tho people of America to observe November 28 as a day of thanksgiving and prayer. The President added: "This year we hive special cause to rejoice, because God in His good pleasure has given us poace. It has come not as a mere cessation of arms, but as a great triumph of right. Complete victory has brought us a confident promise of a new day, in which justice shall leplaoe force and jealous intrigue among the nations."— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
