DUNEDIN TRAMWAYS DISPUTE
-$ CONFERENCE TO BE HELD. ■ Bγ Telecra-nh.— Prew Association.^ Dunedin. October 24. A conference will bo held to-morrow between representatives of the Dunedin tramway proprietaries and the employees to consider the men's claims regarding an increase oi' wages and the working conditions. The dispute is being taken under tho Labour Disputes Investigation Act. If an agreement is readied it will be filed in the Supreme Court, and take effect as an agreement under the Arbitration Act. Jf agreement is not readied the Minister of Labour will set up n Labour Disputes Committee, consisting of not fewer than three representatives from each side and not nioro than seven.
