BAPTIST CONFERENCE

The annual meetings of.'the Baptist Union were continued yesterday at the Vivian Street Baptist Church. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—President, Mr. M. P. W. Kempton it was resolved: "This conference commends with great urgency to the entire membership of our (tiiurchte the campaign which aims to secure the immediate national prohibition of tho liquor traffic." A special concert will be given tonight in tho Vivian Street Church. The solos and choruses will be selected from the compositions of Handel.
