Brorliin, a member of the Jominion BiutM- and- Cheese Conir ittee, last night received a cable ossage from London stating tlmt the iistralian butter output had been purlascd by the Impiirial Government at jos. per civt., with the option at the jmo price for the duration of the ur. This price equals Is. 6|d. per |._ Mr. Brpchin is of opinion that the [ice offered for the Dominion' output ill be slightly better.
Tho Butter and Chesse Comraitteo will meet tho i'rimo Minister shortly, ■when final arrangements for -ihe disposal of butter and cheese to tho Impend Government'will bo concluded.
