HUN FRIGHTFULNESS IN ALSACE

The German ' military authorities, in a proclamation issued in Alsace, draw attention to nocturnal attacks' on troop trains between Colniar and Mulhouse by pro-French civilians' with rifles, and adds:—"lf, as hitherto, the authorities are unable to discover the perpetrators 'o'f such outrages reprisals will hereafter be carried out on the whole population iiMlie districts con-cerned."—Aus.-N.Z.
