FINE WEATHER AGAIN
As quickly almost as it rose, tho southerly storm died down yesterday, and the latter part of tho day was beautifully fine. Tho night was clear and still, but very cold. Present indications are for decreasing southerly winds, veering shortly to freshening westerlies, especially in and south of Cook Strait. Fair to cloudy weather may he expected generally, but unsettled at timos in Southland. There is littlo movement of tho barometei.
