The men agreed to do this, and the Magistrate convicted and ordered them to come up for sentence when .called advised the men that if they had any grievance tliev should bring it beiore the proper authorities. . James Keating, a. reservist, who some davs a"o committed the theft of 2s. belonging to the Red Gross Copper Trail, pleaded guilty to the offence, and was ordered to he handed over .to tnc military authorities. BJ.ack and Co., Ltd., £7 17s. 6d. by September 26. or serve a week in gaol. Plaintiff was nonsuited in the case ot J. Leach, motor exnert, v. M. Livingstone, a claim for £5 10s., balance ot fees for teaching.motor-car driving. C. W. Price and Co.. auctioneers, proceeded against \\. Tonkins. I arm manager, Stokes Valley, to recover WO Cs. od. for furniture .supplied to a labourer on the farm managed by defendant. The sum of £o 10s. was paid into Court, and in addition to tat jlid.rment was given for plaintiff for C'J 1-ls., with eosts.
