DREARY WEATHER
Yesterday was a dreary day in Wellington. 'it rained intermittently in the morning, but about noon the day definitely had settled down to its worst. ' The wind blow hardor and chillier, and night descended on a bleak grey prospect. The official report states that according to present indications we aro in for strong soutlierlics, veering to increasing westerlies, cloudy and unsettled weather, with rain probable, generally.
