BUMPER WHEAT CROP IN AMERICA

The condition oi tliu spring wheat crop on June 1 this year ■was 95.2 per cent, of a normal, or 1.3 per cent, better than the ten-year average. The average sown was greater by 2,000,000 acres than ever awn before-, and 21.5 per cent, larger Hum last year, aggregating. 22,189,001' acres. Winter wheat showed a condition 3 per cent, better than the lenjear average, with 83.8 of a normal. A production ot 587,00(1,000 bushels was forecasted. Record crops of oats and rjo are also promised. The forecast fot rye production is £1,000,000 bushels, (.gainst ft crop last year of 60,100,000 bushels, which was a record.
