PRODUCED 2C51 FIT HEM. The Minister of Defence has received a *'oturn of the numbers of" men who liavo passed through the CI camp into the ranks of l.ho A men, and fo into the Expeditionary Army. From October fi, 11)17, when the camp was ctitabluhed, till Juno 1, 15)18, the number of fit men produced by the caiup was 1933, and at various dates since then this number has been increased by 718, nuiking the total return from the camp 21)51. This number does not include those 02 men who aro declared fit by tho special medical board examining; the C 2 Lien. These men classed A on re-examination do not go into the CI camp, so tlmt the result of the scheme generally must be even more satisfactory than the figures show.
