The friends of Captuin J, ]{~ Bodley, of Henderson, and Jin. Bodley, will be interested to hear of tho birth of their daughter, Mr. Keith 'Izard, of Wellington, is jvai'workiug at the Ministry ot Munitions. Mrs. Izard is staying at East' Molesley, SuiTtiy. Mrs. Cliarka Izard is at present at Chichester. Miss liosina Buokman has boon, seriously ill with pnucnionin, but is now out of danger, and it is hoped sho may appear at Drury Lane during the forthcoming opera season. Mr. T. Nottidge, J.P., who has died at Ashford (Kent), in his 83rd year, was an ardent angler, and as a young man introduced trout into tho waters of New Zealand, where he was a member of the legal profession. Professor G. S. Sale, formerly of Otegi) University, and now living in London, celebrated his 87th birthday recently. On the same day he received news of the award of the M.C. to his son, Captain G. C. Kale, R.E.' Mrs. R. IT. Davics, whose husband, Major-General Dnvies, died suddenly Inst week, is a sister of Commander N. 'Cornwall, R.N.1!., formerly of the Tongnriro. She and Miss Dnvies have been doing war work in England. Her son. Contain H. C. Davics.. R.E., was in the Wellington Infantry, Alain Body, before getting his commission.
