CLASS C MEN

<1 THE MEDICAL EXAMINATIONS. ■ The medical examination of the 5000 Class C reservists dr.nvn in this month's ballot will be in full swing within the next few days, and probably it can bo completed in about a fortnight. The men will be taken in alphabetical order, as usual, and the men classified' under the initial letters of the alphabet aro already being notified to attend for examination'. The mobilisation of the November draft will beg in on November 5. Men who are examined and passed fit before August 13, therefore, can be given tho promised twelve weeks' leave,, so it appeal's Hint all or nearly all the fit reservists drawn in the last ballot can be posted to the November draft if required. It is likely that some of them will be carried over to tho succeeding draft, mobilising at the beginning or the end of January.
