The appeal of Edward Yealee, an. exqfiicer in the New Zealand Forces, against his conviction in December for illegally wearing uniform, was dismissed •with costs; but on Yeutcs's undertaking not to wear tho uniform the penalty/was reduced to one. shilling. Sir Joseph Ward and Sir Thomas Mackenzie gave evidence.
