WIMMERA INQUIRY

ASSESSOES APPOINTED. The Minister of Marine (the Hon. T. M. Wilford) stated yesterday that the two nautical men who would sit on the TiMmmern inquiry would be Captain M'Arthur, of Wellington, and Captain E. E. Smith, of Auckland. Mr. Wilford said that the choice of a chairman of the inquiry hail not yet been made, nor had the date of the inquiry been fixed.
