BRITAIN'S BUTTER
IMPORTATIONS FROM DENMARK. to "Weridel's .Kevicw," lireiit Britain imparled in iou 90,000 tons ot butter from Denmark, .10,000 tons *;'°'» wberia, SO.OOO from Australia, and 16,000 tons from New Zealand. Owing to war conditions, tho output in Denmark was greatly reduced, and only a very small proportion found its way to the British markets, ami Siberia' has teased exporting altogether. It is, therelore,, quite evident that Great Britain depends very largely on Australia and >.ow Zealand, for supplies. Tho statisti- ■ cal position for butter for tho next few years indicates exceedingly satisfactory returns.
