Sir,—"C.T." wields a facile pen and words are no trouble to him. However, when the words obscure tho meaning wo boil them down, and get "sop to a tiger," with the answer, "prevention is better than cure"—and prevention in this case means keeping the gun you have got from your enemy's grasp.—l am etc. ' HENRY BODLEY.
