ANGLO-AMERICAN ALLIANCE LAUDED. London, July i. All the newspapers publish leaders and long articles on Independences Day, besides many messages from public men lauding the Anglo-American Alliance and help the United States has already given, including an army of 160,000 officers, 2,010,000 men, of which over a million are- in France—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. CELEBRATIONS IN AUSTRALIA. # Sydney, July 5. There -was wider public interest than usual in the Independence Day celebrations in the various capitals. The burden of the speeches was appreciation of America's increasing intervention in the war and tho likelihood of its proving tho deciding factor.—Press Amu.
