Despite the sparcily of shipping in port there was u good attendance at (he concert at (ho Sailors' Friend Society on Tuesday night. 'I'lie hostesses were the Jlisses D. nn.l M. Numbers of conundrums added to (lis evening's entertainment, Ihe prizes coming from Thorndon. Jlr. Moore would bo grateful for gifts of books for the voyages before Ihe men.
