PATHETIC APPEAL FOR ARMENIA
TO SAVE ANCIENT PEOPLE FROM EXTERMINATION. London, July 2. .Renter's Agency learns Hint a pathetic appeal on behalf of the Armenians is to be made to the British Labour Conference. Tho appeal reveals an appalling sfaito of affairs, and says: "None of Ihe fearful horrors perpetrated in tho various war zones compare with the tragic lot of the Armenians.- Tho Turks sinco tho beginning of the war have committed unprecedented atrocities in Turkish Armenia, where they massacred about a million persons, whilo two million Armenians in Russian Armenia aro now threatened with a similar fate. Democracy is asked to assist to eave this small ancient people from complete extermination."—Kouter.
