An extraordinary general meeting of members of the Wellington Reluiiicd Soldiers' Association will bo held in tlio Returned Soldiers' Club, 292 Quay, on Thursday at 8 p.m. Ihe business is important and the attendance of all members is requested.
The annual conference of llie New Zealand Federation of Labour was (o have opened in the Esperanto .11 nil yesterday, but owing to the late arrival of tlio southern delegates, who old not reach Wellington, aboard the Maxaroa, until about 5 p.m., the proceedings were postponed until this morning. 1 lie delegates have a considerable amount of business to discuss.
