A meeting of retail dairymen was hold to-night to discuss 11 proposal of .the wholesalers to-increase the price of milt. It was lesolved: "TJiat this meeting ot retail dairymen greatly resents the attempt made by a few-wholesale dairymen to raise the price of .milk, and decides that 110 such increase will be paid, and tliat the retail price 'of ,milk shall remain at fivepence per quart.'-' It. was furthvr decided to wait on the Board of Trade, and request it to fix the wholesale and retail prico of milk.
