WELLINGTON COLLEGE V. FBTONE. Special interest is being taken in tho first meeting of Wellington Collcgo and Pctone, exponents of clover football. Pctone is tho leading team in the 1918 senior championship, while College aro competing for the first season as .a-full-fledged senior team. The boys (of the for. wards four are under IT and three nnd«r 18 years of age) have already shown, wonderful form, for they were beaten by a single point only by Old-Boys (14-13) in their opening match, and havo. since defeated University 14-13, and Wellington 25-21; As far as is known-'at .present--the teams will be:— Wellington College—Mendowcrolt, Nicol, Bull, Davidson, Smith, Nicholls, Ward, Barclay, Dfghton, Toogood, Hum, Moncrief, Bums, Jones, M'Coll. Petone-Powler, Hamilton, A. D. and 0 Thomas, Nylan, Pole, Corner, Nicholls, A. and A. E. Parker, Dickens, Ambler, Shanahan, Wylie. ' Referee—Mr. L. Simpson. Each team will be captained by a son of -Sid. Nicholls, of Poneko fame in years past. It is probable that J. N. Millard, the KC-'Varsitv (Dunedin) and Otagc- representative player, will appear in-tho Collego team.
