Wilfoicl.saiil lu> could assist in establishing women -patrols, but he did'not believe in womon magistrates,- women justice's of tho pence,, or women ou juries. He would not alter his decision on that point. He did not believo in women on juries at all. Tho prejudices of mon were of the mind, and could be overcome; but the prejudices of women were of' the heart, and therefore impregnable.
