WEATHER PROSPECTS
The barr meter is unsteady, villi » falling tendency in tlio south. Present indications, according to Hie Government Meteorologist, are for high south-east winds northwards of Kawhia and Last Cape, and moderate to freshening easier., lv to northerly winds elsewhere. Rain is probable in the northnrii and Last Coast districts of tlio North Island, and cloudy and unsettled weather may bo expected at times generally.
