After a splendid day's work yesterday the championship shorthead and yarding event at the championship sheep-do? trials was concluded this morning, resulting:—White's (Waipawa) Boy, 1: Scott's (Hawera) Sweep, 2; Corrigan'e (Hawera) Tam, 3; Grant's (Tikokino) G'eneral Maxwell, 4. The event created- much interest, the winning dog being particularly good.
