By Telegraph-Prose Association Dunedin, June 5. At Burnside yards 223 fat cattlo wcro penned. The quality was fairly good, and the entry exceeded requirements. Prices receded 10s. to 15s. per head. Best bullocks, .£lB 10s. to .£2O; extra, .£25 10s.; medium to good, £16 to j617 Mb.; light, .£l3 10s. to .£l4 10s.; best cows and heifers, £U 10s. to .£ls 10s.;' medium to good, .£l2 to ,£l3 10s.; light, £S 10s. to .£lO 10s. The number of sheep penned was 1869.' The quality was below the average. Owing to the small entry, competition was keen a'nd prices for prime advanced is. to Is. 6d. a head. Medium quality sold well.' Best wethers, 425. to 445. 6d.; extra, 505.; good, 38s: to 40s. 4d.; medium, 335. to 345. (id.; prime ewes, 375. to 'ids.; extra, 485.; medium to jiood, 30s. to 335.; light, 245. upwards. There were 1333 lambs penned. The quality was fair and competition was keen, lato rates being fully maintained. Prime, 28s. to 32«.; extra, 86».; medium, 255. to 275.; light, 233. Bd. to 25s'. There was a small yarding of pigs. Fats and storos met a good demand. Prices showed a slight advance on last week'tf rates.
