RECRUITS FOR CAMP

A draft of recruits for the 01 Camp is being mobilised this week. . the iueii from Group 5 (Wellington City r.nd Suburbs) concentrated at the Buckle Street Drill Shed yesterday afternoon, about 90 strong. After the roll had been called, the recruits were addressed by the Group Commander -(Major A. A. Corrignn), and wore then eiven leave until 7.30 a.m. to-day. They v ill march through tho city to Lnmbtoii Station this morning, and will be entr.iined for I eatherston.

iho recruits for tho Forty-third Reinforcements will enter camp in the ceriod June 18-22. This draft, like l!.e Fortysecond; will bo a large one. The size of succeeding drafts is largely dependent upon the amount of shipping available for the transport of troops abroad.
