All art union in aid of the Mayoress's Countess of Liverpool Soldiers' Parcels Fund is being.organised by the hon. secretary (llrs. Crawford) and members of the committee. The first prize is to be ;L trousseau, consisting of six sets of underclothing; one set being of crepe de ohene and the others of tarantulle. Clever fingers are working at these .garments, and when finished their beautiful workmanship and daintiness of finish should delight the eyes of every woman who sees them. Another prize will be a cape of beautiful Spanish laco which can be put to other purposes if necessary; and another prize is a scarf oi fine old Maltese lace. There will also be an afternoon tea-cloth (embroidered), a Irny-cloth, and various other articles. It is. not intended to start the art union for some weeks yet—not, at anyrate, till the Bed Jersey appeal is finished with.
