FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION

MEETING OF MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. The Management Committee of thu AVdllingcon Football Association met last evening, whtii iuoro were present:— Messrs. A. li. \\ oils (in the chair), Webster, Hill, Yeoman, W. Auld, A. Smith, and A. Williams (hon. suerc-Vary). An entry was received irom Marist Old Boys lor the senior competition. Seatoun lootball Club entercu a team in tho Sixth A Grade competition. A letter was received Irom the headmaster, Mcuriceyille West School, asking for information, and stating that he was fostering the game in his district. Ho asked that four footballs be forwarded to him. The committee decided that his request be complied with.

A letter was received from Gunner B. L. Salmon stating that lie w.is trying to obtain permission for the Arliiiory tenm to travel to town on alternate Saturdays. A transfer was granted (o W. M'Gill from Institute Football Club to Thorndon Football Club. It was decided to instruct referees to give tho caretakers every assistance in keeping spectators oft' the line. Y.M.C.A. upplied for permission to take a team to Featherston on June 3, and the request was granted. Permission was also granted Institute to play Nomads at Christchurch on June I). A match was arranged between Thistle Football Club and Marist for June 3 at Association Park. The senior competition will start on Saturday, six entries being received. FIXTURES FOB SATURDAY. Fixtures for next Saturday's games will remain the same as for last Saturday, when the matches wore postponed, with tho following exceptions:— Third Division.—Y.M.C.A. v. Thorndon, Duppa Street, 3 p.m., .Mr. A. Coiitls. Fourth Division A.—lnstitute B. i>,,bye. Fourth Division B.—South Wellington v. St. David's, Potone, 2 p.m.. Mr. L. Gosney; Marist v. Institute Ji, Kilbirnie, 3 p.m., Mr. T. Holt. Fifth Division 13—Marist (}.'.) C v. Instituto C, Kilbirnie, 2 p.m., l!r. T. Holt. Sixth-'Division A.-Knrori v. Scatoun, Mr. 11. Merchant.
