TPrcijbnl indications arc for stronc southerly winds, chaneliif; by west to northerhes, northwards of Farewell Spit and Kailtoura, and incroasine northerlies prevailing shortly elsewhere. Cold and showery conditions may bo expected along tnc East Coast of the North Island, and unsettled weather is likely to follow generally, with the approach of a storm area now developing in tbo Taaman Sea. ' - The barometer has risen everywhere, but the depression north-eastward of the Dominion has accounted for squally and showery conditions iu the northern and East Const parts of the North Island, and cold and changeable weather uenernlly.
