WELLIINGTON HARBOUR BOARD

The monthly meeting of tho Wellington Harbour Board was held last night. There were present: Messrs. C. E. Duniell (chairman), R. Fletcher, R. E. Sinclair, A. MTarlane. .T. G. Cobbe, J. W. M'Ewan, M. A?. Welch. R. A. Wright, W. Cable, J. G: Harkiicss, M. Cohen, AV. Wallis, A. H. Hindmarsh. Tho bank pass books showed a credit to current account of JM5.177, to imprest account .£2332, and on fixed deposit .£00,0(10. It wns decided to call for tenders for the supply of uniforms and caps. A vote of ■£[«> was passed in aid of the objects of tho Workers' Educational Association. It was decided to print the lecture, notes of which wero supplied to the board by Mr. Elsdon Best on "The Discovery and 'Rediscovery of Wellington." "It was also agreed I'iat a voto of thanks be accorded to Jlr. Best.
