GIANT GERMAN AEROPLANE
PARTICULARS OF THE NEW GOTHA London, May 23. Editor's correspondent *nt i'reneh Headquarters supplies particulars of tho new giant Gotlui bombing aeroplane which the Germans employed in the latest night raids in Franco and England. It has a wing spread of lorty metres (131 feet), and is driven by Ihreo motors, each of 300 horse-power. Tho machine can accommodate , nine- passengers, but on raids the crew numbers five or six, in order that it.may carry-more bombsand petrol. About two tons y/f. bom.bs, including one of about a ton weight, containing .1870 pounds of explosive,.are carried.
