CHURCH ANNIVERSARY
The thirtieth nunual report of the Cambridge Terrace Congregational Church reviews the work of the chuich in the new building. The report ntates that thanks to the high stnmhrd of the labours of the pastor, Jiev. A. E. Hunt, whoso ministrations liiive been most helpful, and to the co-operation of the congregation, n most successful term bas been enjoyed. The membership roll shows a total of Id!!, including 120 town members. The linanoial /position of tho clmrcir is sound— collections by the envelope system amounted to j>lß4 Ms. 9d., the best result yot gained. Dealing with Sunday schoil work, the report says the attendances have been low, except in tho primary department,..where tho attendance is as it should be. 'Hie Young Lqdies' and Young Men's BiWo Classes, conducted 'by Miss Iluut and Jlr. respectively, have accomplished good work, and Jlr. Stephenson, superintendonL, continues bio valuable services in the Sunday School. Reference of a complimetary nature is made to the Sunday School teaching staff, under Mr. Cocks, who is at present recuperating in Australia. A Young People's League of Honour has been formed by Mr. W. G. Phillips, and the movement promises.well. Grateful thanks are extended to the "Ladies' Guild, whicii has worked hard and secured the sum of JC2OO for the building fund by ii salo of ■work, as well ;us .lilO ench to tlie missions and manse funds respectively. The lotal realised from this sale of work was win', ovor ,£3OO. Other good work has been accomplished by the guild, and special' thanks are accorded tlio members.
