New Plymouth, May 7. At a meeting of the 'i'aranaki Producers' Company it was decided to take up .£25,000 shares in the Taranaki Farmers' Meat Company,. on the undertaking of the latter to erect additional storage accommodation at Smart Road. At previous meetings it"~ vas decided to increase the storage at tho producers' works at Moturoa, the estimated cost being .£31,000. Mr. Arthur Morton, chairman, pointed out that when things were normal the proposed additional buildings at Aloturoa works would be unremuneriitivo, wherees the meat works could put them to very profitable use, besides whfch the great milk of tho shareholders in tho meat works wore dairymen. The extra space will enable nearly the whole season's butter output to be stored and leave tho Moturoa works free to accommodate about 110,000 crates of cheese, which, with the accommodation of tho factories, would provide for tho season's cheese output.
