SUNDAY CONCERT
Tho Grand Opera House was crowded ti, tlie doors lust night on the occaslim of the performance given by tho i'isk Jubilee Singers in aid of the ""ess Bnbv" fund. Through this fund the ivetl Cross and Red Jersey funds are being materially helped, and it was only natural that 60 deserving a cause met with such a gratifying response on the part of the public. An excellent programme was submitted, comprising a special selection of captivating jubilee choruses and solos bv the Fisk Jubilee Singers, who were ?.t their best. The generosity nf Mr. jrarshall rainier, manager of the Fisk Jubilee Singers, mado the holding of the performance possible. Tho management of the "Press Baby" fund also appreciate very much the gratuitous services of T.ieutennnt Herd and Zealand Native Association's brass band. Under the conductorsliip of Jjieutcuant Herd, the band rendered a first-class programme, of music appropriate to the occasion n.s a prelude to the main vierforniance.
