To-night at 9.30 will mark the close of the exhibition of sketches, paintings, etchings, and drawings which has run its successful courso at the Art Gallery du.r9ig tho past few days. The greatest interest in the exhibition has been shown, and the response by tho public has more thai exceeded expectations. The drawing of the art union, for which a largo number of tickets wore sold,• took place at the gallery last ovening, and resulted as follows:—First prize, ,£5, No. 480 (Mr. T>. Siiic'mir); second, .£5, No. lfiO (Mr. Mnrrav); third. A No. 657 (Mrs. Jacob); fourth, XI, No. 747 (Mr. Charles Rained: fifth, ,fi2. No. (.10 (Mr. J. Abbott); sixth, Xt No. (iSli (Mr. Summerond); seventh, ,rl os. -V,., No. 254 (Mr. Blake); eighth. ,21, No. 318 (Miss E. Dasent. The exhibition will be open during the day from 10 a.m. to 4.30 p.m., and in the ovening from 7.30 to 9.30.
