' Miss Petrie, who for a number of years acted as school mistress at South Wellington School, has had to lraign owing to ill-health. At Monday night's meeting of householders several parents spoke of the good work sho had done at the school, and a- motion was'carried:— "Tluit this meeting of householders desires to testify to its appreciation of Miss Petrie's services U> the South Wellington School for the past thirteen years, and sincerely trusts that she will soon be restored to her usual health.
