MISS ADA REEVE
£14,000 FOR THE ANZAC BUFFET.
Miss Ada' Reeve, the talented English actress and singer, as once more in Wellington, being en route to Christchurch, where she will commence a tour on Saturday next. Miss Eeeve'B Annuo Buffet campaign wound up brilliantly in .Melbourne, where she was able to announce that she had managed to raise £14,000 jfor the benefit of the Australian and New Zealand soldiers on leave in London. On the trip to Now Zealand Miss Reeve entertained a draft of returned men in characteristic style. Captain J. B. Hine, M.P., occupied the chair, and after Miss Reevo imd the members of her company had given a delightful hour's entertainment, the health of Miss Reevo was proposed by, Captain Hino in flattering terms, and drunk very heartily as tho termination to :i very happy little "afternoon." Misß llcove and her company will leave for the south this evening. Mr. Thomas Holt' is managing the tour.
Mrs. Featherstone, daughter of Mr. Ware, Remuera, is on service at the Northwood V.A.D. Hospital, Middlesex'. Her name was included in a recent list of workers commended for valuable services.
