PLANS OF THE MAXIMALISTS AND GERMANS. Peking, March 24. Reports from Siberia state that the Maximalists, with German aid, intend to break' the railway along Lake Baikal in the event of the Japanese advancing. ALLIES PURCHASE RUSSIAN SHIPPING. (Rec. March 25, 5.30 p.m.) Tokio, March 24. It is reported that the Allies have purchased all the shipping on the Eastern Russian littoral, a total of 650,000 tons, to prevent it falling into the hands of the Bolshevild.—"The Times.";
