FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications are for freshening northerly winds and cloudy and misty conditions generally, with rain following in many parts r.f the Dominion. The barometer has a falling tendency. Moderate to strong northerly and easterly winds have predominated, and the weather haß continued warm and dull generally, with scattered showers.
