300 FAST DESTROYERS
AMERICA PROMISES COMPLETION BY AUGUST. Washington, February ]. Mr. J. Daniels, Secretary of tho Navy, announces that America will have 300 destroyers of a new type ready in August. The' Government is utilising tho Ford works for the construction of: standardised vessels, 200 feet long, each carrying two suns, and of record speed.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable' Assn.
