By Telegraph—Press Association. Te Kuiti, January 26. The Assessment Court, consisting ofi Mr. Raw-son, S.M., Mr. Campbdl, representing tiie Government, and Air. Tammadgc, the borough solicitor, sat for three days, and the sitting closed yesterday. The main street was divided into three areas, fhe northern end was reduced 10 per cent., tho second area by 12 per cent., the southern end by 15 per cent., while tarm lands in the borough were cousideiably. reduced. Two hundred and twentyeisht objections were lodged out ot 848 assessments and 119 persons tailed to support their objections. Eight per cent, of the objections heard were reduced.
