CHINESE STEAMERS COLLIDE
ONE VESSEL SUNK AND 100 LIVES LOST.
(Rec. January 9, 8.20. p.m.) Shanghai, January 8. The steamer Toochi collided -with the steamer Hainfong outside Woosmg. The Toochi was sunk. A hundred were drowned, including the captain and the chief officer—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
